Gainesville, FL

I am a PhD student at the University of Florida, where my research focuses on deep learning for autonomous systems. My work spans simulation-driven robotics research, with hands-on experience in platforms such as IsaacSim and HabitatSim. Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked in industry as a research engineer developing deep learning techniques for protein engineering, and I also completed a visiting research fellowship at the University of Sydney. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Moratuwa with a specialization in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering. With a strong interdisciplinary foundation in computer vision, natural language processing, and computational protein design, I am passionate about pushing the boundaries of machine learning through collaborative, impactful research in robotics and artificial intelligence.
